Para bailar la bamba.

For fifteen years we have avoided our favorite Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for Eat Mexican Food Day) because we thought it would be crowded. Big mistake.

Jalisco's goes all out for this Americanized holiday. Dressed up staff, balloon sculpture, decorations with cerveza slogans, colored chips, and best of all, a mariachi band. They even played la cucaracha on request.

Note to self: be excited for Cinco next year.

I had to laugh at your definition of, "Spanish for Eat Mexican Food Day" for Cinco de Mayo. That is what it seems like...
